Janneka Guise is the Head of the University of Toronto Music Library. Prior to this 2017 appointment she was Head of the Eckhardt-Gramatté Music Library at the University of Manitoba for 10 years, and has also held positions at Red Deer College (AB), Washburn University (KS), and Memorial University of Newfoundland (NL). She has held several positions on the Board of the Canadian Association of Music Libraries (CAML), and serves on several IAML committees including chairing the Outreach Committee. Her research interests are in leadership and succession planning, and in 2015 she published Succession Planning in Canadian Academic Libraries (Chandos, UK).
