Liza Vick is Head, Otto E. Albrecht Music Library & Eugene Ormandy Music & Media Center at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds graduate degrees in library science and ethnomusicology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Liza is very active in the MLA, having served as a member-at-large of the board of directors, as chair of the MLA Publications Committee and of the search committee for Notes editor. Previously, she served as chair of the MLA Nominating Committee. She has also been chair of the New England Chapter of MLA. Liza served as book review editor for Notes, from 2013-2017. She is a contributor to the monograph, Information Literacy in Music: an Instructor’s Companion and Associate Editor for World Music of the fourth edition of A Basic Music Library (both 2018). She was recently elected to the Council of the American Musicological Society and is President-Elect of the Music Library Association.
