Nurhak Tuncer (originally from Izmir/Turkey) is currently working as the Music Librarian at Elizabeth City State University. Previously she worked as an Adjunct Faculty Librarian at City Colleges of Chicago, Malcolm X College, and as a Project Cataloger at Chicago History Museum. She has BA in clarinet performance from “9 September Conservatoire,” MA in Music from University of Northern Iowa and MLIS from Dominican University. She is an active member of the American Library Association, Music Library Association, and International Music Library Association, where she also presented her research. Her research interests are cataloging, open-access, digital repositories, diversity and inclusion, library instruction and reference, collection management/acquisition. She is also the project manager for NC DOCKS digital repository at ECSU.
