Pam Dennis is Dean of the Library and an adjunct music faculty member at Gardner-Webb University. She previously served libraries at Ouachita Baptist University (Archivist), and Union University (Information Services Coordinator and Archivist), Lambuth University (Library Director), and University of Memphis (Learning Commons Coordinator) before coming to Gardner-Webb in 2015 as Reference and Instruction Librarian. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music from Western Carolina University, a master’s in church music from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a master’s in library science from Southern Connecticut State University, and a doctorate in musicology from University of Memphis. In addition to her library work, she teaches LIB 301, a library research class through DCP; and Music Survey as a seated class. She is also a substitute organist at churches in Shelby and Charlotte. She loves doing local historical research and knitting.
