My responsibilities center on information literacy, reference, collection development, and student/faculty outreach. I am increasingly involved in Vanderbilt University's partnership with the National Museum for African American Music, working with my colleagues in Special Collections and University Archives on Black music archival collections. I'm very interested in finding concrete ways to support DEIA in academic libraries, and my current research focus is on the intersection of mental illness and librarianship. I am mentally ill and a self-advocate for mental illness.
I am an avid keeper of fish and corals. I'm always happy to talk about that.
